Duality picture between antiferromagnetism and d-wave superconductivity in t− J model at two dimensions

چکیده
We show in this paper an interesting relation between elementary and topological excitations in the antiferromagnetic and d-wave superconducting phases of the t−J model at two dimensions. The topological spin and charge excitations in one phase have the same dynamics as elementary excitations in the other phase, except the appearance of energy gaps. Moreover, the transition from one phase to another can be described as a quantum disordering transition associated with the topological excitations. Based on the above picture, a plausible phase diagram of t− J model is constructed. 74.20.Mn,74.72.-h,75.10.Jm Typeset using REVTEX 1

The self-energy-functional approach is a powerful many-body tool to investigate different broken symmetry phases of strongly correlated electron systems. We use the variational cluster perturbation theory (also called the variational cluster approximation) to investigate the interplay between the antiferromagnetism and d-wave superconductivity of κ-(ET)2 X conductors. These compounds are desc...

We compare predictions of the mean-field theory of superconductivity for nearly antiferromagnetic and nearly ferromagnetic metals in two dimensions. The calculations are based on a parametrization of the effective interaction arising from the exchange of magnetic fluctuations. The Eliashberg equations for the transition temperature are solved including the full momentum dependence of the electr...
متن کاملMott transition, antiferromagnetism, and d-wave superconductivity in two-dimensional organic conductors.
We study the Mott transition, antiferromagnetism, and superconductivity in layered organic conductors using the cellular dynamical mean-field theory for the frustrated Hubbard model. A d-wave superconducting phase appears between an antiferromagnetic insulator and a metal for t'/t=0.3-0.7 or between a nonmagnetic Mott insulator (spin liquid) and a metal for t'/t>or=0.8, in agreement with experi...
متن کاملCellular-dynamical mean-field theory of the competition between antiferromagnetism and d-wave superconductivity in the two- dimensional Hubbard model
Cellular dynamical mean field theory is used to study the competition of antiferromagnetism and d-wave superconductivity at zerotemperature in the two-dimensional Hubbard model. The outcome strongly depends on the value of the interaction. At strong coupling (UX8t) a first-order transition takes place as a function of doping between pure antiferromagnet and pure superconductor. At weakcoupling ...
متن کاملPhase Diagram of High-Tc Superconductors from a Field Theory Model
The renormalization group approach to correlated fermions is used to determine the phase diagram of the oxide cuprates modeled by the t − t′ Hubbard model at the Van Hove filling. Spin–dependent interactions give rise to instabilities corresponding to ferromagnetic, antiferromagnetic and d-wave superconducting phases. Antiferromagnetism and d-wave superconductivity arise from the same interacti...
